toughest battles are internal.

The prospect of collaborating with only TWO Health Sciences Representatives for ASUCI seems like a daunting task to tackle the ambitious goals these health organizations want to accomplish with situations regarding poverty, medicine supply, and funding.

Global Medical Brigades
Student Health Outreach
Public Health Association
Nursing Science
Pharmaceutical Sciences
Medicine...just to name a few.

---The factor of distribution of wealth lies at the root of these problems concerning families, schools and students unable to afford health care. Prevention seems like the plausible way to answer these questions, but prevention involves so much more than education. It involves addressing the interest groups and affiliated organizations while making sure to address the issues of the individuals at hand.

Of course, one can not please everyone, thus doing what is best for the majority will create some tension and loosen some tension amongst faculty, staff and students, but at the end of it all...I suppose the knowledge we acquire is meant to spread and help for the greater good.

Still learning everyday,
-Jaime
